Aluminium Doors
Single, double and pivot aluminium entrance doors for shops, offices and communal entrances, fitted into new or existing frames.
The entrance door takes more punishment than any other part of a building. It is pushed, pulled, kicked open with full hands and slammed by the wind hundreds of times a day. Aluminium doors stand up to that far better than timber or PVC-U.
We fit aluminium doors on their own, without replacing the rest of the front, for shops, offices, surgeries and the communal entrances to flats above shops.
Door types
- **Single doors** for most shop and office entrances. - **Double doors** where you need a wider opening for deliveries or busy periods. - **Pivot doors**, which turn on a pivot set in from the edge, for wide, tall feature entrances. - **Doors with side panels and fanlights** to fill an opening that is wider or taller than a standard door.
Security
Commercial aluminium doors can be fitted with multi-point locks, hook bolts, anti-snap cylinders and laminated glass. If you want a door that has been tested for break-in resistance, we can supply sets certified to the recognised security standard for doors.
Access for everyone
A level or very low threshold, a clear width that suits wheelchairs and a closer that is not too heavy to push all make the entrance easier to use. We check these at survey and can fit an automatic operator now or later.
Keeping the heat in
Doors with a thermal break and double glazing stop the entrance being a cold spot. For doors that open constantly, a closer set to shut promptly matters as much as the door itself.
Finish
Doors are powder coated in any RAL colour to match or contrast with the existing front. Handles range from simple levers to long pull bars.

Questions people ask about aluminium doors
A shopfront is the whole glazed screen across the building, of which the door is one part. We can replace just the door if the rest of the front is in good order.
Yes. We remove the old door and frame, make good the opening and fit a complete aluminium door set.
Clean the frame, keep the threshold clear of grit and have the closer and locks checked once a year.
See the price ranges on this page. Size, glass, locks and finish make the difference.
