Emergency Callout in Newcastle
We do not offer emergency callout in Newcastle. Here is why, and what we can do instead.
Emergency Callout in Newcastle: not a service we offer here
Newcastle is too far from our Midlands base for us to offer emergency callout at a response time that would be fair to you, so we do not take this work on there.
A firm based near Newcastle will reach you sooner. If the damage means you are replacing the front, shutter or door altogether, we can quote that as a planned project.
Newcastle is a long way from our Midlands base, so work there is booked as a planned project and fitted in as few trips as possible.
Shopping streets and planning in Newcastle
Grainger Town, the heart of the city centre, is built from classical stone streets laid out in the 1830s, and many of its buildings are listed. Grey Street, Grainger Street and Clayton Street are protected, and new shopfronts there are expected to suit the original stonework, with traditional proportions and discreet signs.
Jesmond's Osborne Road and Gosforth High Street are popular for bars, restaurants and independent shops. The Ouseburn Valley is home to creative businesses in old industrial buildings, where large doors and simple steel-framed glazing fit the character.
