The rating, size and hardware chosen set the price for each doorset. These are typical per-door figures.
Prices are before VAT and per door. We confirm the exact figure in writing after the survey.
Questions people ask about fire doors
It means the door also has smoke seals. FD30 resists fire for 30 minutes; FD30S does the same and also limits cold smoke passing around the edges.
Only with parts approved for that door. Ordinary hardware can create a weak spot or remove intumescent material, which breaks the certification.
Doors in busy areas are often checked every few months, and all doors at least once a year. Your fire risk assessment should set the frequency.
Most must. Doors to cupboards that are kept locked are a common exception. Your fire risk assessment will say which doors need closers.
